The Monte Vista Police Department K-9 Unit’s Funds purpose is to support the performance of the K-9 unit and maintain a high quality of life for it’s police service dogs. The Monte Vista Police Department K-9 Unit’s Funds purpose is to improve the performance of the K-9 unit and maintain a high quality of life for it’s police service dogs both active and retired. The Monte Vista Police Department K-9 Unit Fund is an incorporated, non-profit 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax deductible and 100% of all donations are used to support our active and retired dogs as described. All donations will be used solely for the following purposes:
- K-9 medical and dental care.
- Assist in purchases of K-9 dogs.
- Safety equipment for K-9 teams.
- Purchase of K-9 related training equipment.
- Training and seminars to support K-9 teams.
- Purchase of K-9 working equipment and vehicles.
- Purchase of K-9 related health and well being supplements.
