National Night Out in Monte Vista

On August 6th we, the people of Monte Vista and beyond, will come together to celebrate National Night Out!! We invite you to join us at Chapman Park from 5pm-8pm. Come out to meet your neighbors, local law enforcement, emergency responders and more. Free food & games, something for all ages. Learn how to promote a safe place to work, play and live in our wonderful town. Monte Vista Police Chief John Rosecrans tells the who, what, why and the story behind National Night Out. We’ll see you there!

Back The Bark

The Monte Vista Police Department K-9 Unit’s Funds purpose is to support the performance of the K-9 unit and maintain a high quality of life for it’s police service dogs. This special 2 part podcast features Margaret Hurd, Corina Settle and Pastor Bob Galey of Calvary Baptist Church, who are members of Back the Bark and Chief John Rosecrans’ Advisory Board. As a bonus, hear from Corporal Heath Hart, handler of K-9 Jake.
