This downtown street party is hosted by the OptiMystics Citizens Action Network! Bring the children for bounce houses, Hall’s Way Escape room, games, face painting, and of course local business specials and deals and craft vendors. Treat yourself awesome food! DJ Pete “Big Sexy” will have you dancing in the streets. New this year! The Grande Musical Finale is in the evening with Moonshadow Marauders and Mariachi San Luis. Car Show Information:
Back by popular demand, People’s Choice will determine the winners again this year. Tickets will be available for a small donation, so attendees can vote for their favorite vehicles. First, second & third place vehicles received a plaque, plus a cash prize. There will also be a police escorted drive through to Home Lake Veteran’s Center, mid-afternoon. The local Veterans love watching the cars driving around the center. Registration for the Car Show is a mere $20.00 suggested donation.

The LOR Foundation (Monte Vista, CO) is the exclusive sponsor for all of the music for Cinco de Mayo this year. Special thanks to Ivette Attencio, local Community Officer & the LOR Foundation for their sponsorship.
Local DJ Pete Garcia will return once again this year to provide music on the streets, throughout the day. Pete has done a wonderful job in the past and The OptiMystics welcome him back for a third year.
The OptiMystics are thrilled to have live music to wrap up our Cinco de Mayo Street Festival this year. Starting around 5PM, the Moonshadow Marauders will take the stage and serenade everyone for about an hour. Then to finish out the evening, Mariachi San Luis will fill the streets with music until around 8PM. You don’t want to miss it!
